What is Matte PVC?
Matte PVC is a white synthetic label material with a smooth, low-sheen surface. The stock we offer is 3.2 mil thick and has a naturally matte appearance.
It is a different material from our White PP, which is a polypropylene BOPP film with a glossier surface.
Why choose Matte PVC?
The stock has a smooth, low-sheen appearance without relying on matte lamination to create the basic matte look.
Matte PVC is a 3.2 mil synthetic material, giving you an alternative to both paper labels and our thinner White BOPP film.
The white surface gives printed artwork a consistent background without the container showing through.

Matte PVC vs. White PP
Both give you an opaque white label, but they are different materials with different surface appearances.

Artwork considerations
White is already provided by the material
Matte PVC is an opaque white stock, so areas left white in your artwork use the white surface of the label material.
Keep important content inside the cut line
Keep text, logos and other important elements safely inside the finished edge of the label.
Remember the surface is matte
The stock has a naturally low-sheen surface, so printed artwork will have a softer overall appearance than it would on a glossier material.
