What is White BOPP?

White BOPP is a white polypropylene film commonly used for product labels. BOPP stands for biaxially oriented polypropylene.

Unlike paper, the film does not absorb water. This stock is also resistant to oils, scratches and everyday scuffs, making it a practical choice for bottles, jars and other frequently handled packaging.

Why choose White PP?

Water and oil resistant

The BOPP film does not absorb water and is resistant to oils, making it useful for packaging that may encounter moisture during normal use.

Made for everyday handling

The material resists scratches, scuffs and abrasion from regular handling.

Clean white base

The opaque white film gives artwork a consistent background without the container showing through.

Artwork considerations

White is already provided by the material

White PP is an opaque white film, so areas left white in your artwork use the white surface of the material.

Keep important content inside the cut line

Keep text, logos and other important elements safely inside the finished edge of the label.

Need a writable surface?

With matte lamination, this material can be written on using permanent marker.

You'll see a proof first

Every order receives a digital proof before production so you can review the artwork before it moves forward.
