What is Eggshell Felt White?
Eggshell Felt White is a premium uncoated label paper, manufactured by Mohawk, with a tactile eggshell/felt surface you can both see and feel. Unlike a smooth coated paper, the texture remains part of the finished label.
It’s built as a wet-strength paper for label applications exposed to moisture — wet strength helps the label resist tearing or shriveling in damp conditions, but it is not the same thing as waterproof. The material works well when the paper itself is meant to contribute to the overall packaging design.
